There is a new review of Rachael's latest feature film, Dangerous Parking, at this link:

http://www.screendaily.com/ScreenDailyArticle.aspx?intStoryID=38131

The marketing director has given me the date of May 23rd as a UK release date, with no US release date yet set.

Thank you Bonnie. The mere mention of, Train Spotting got my attention. One of my all time favorite movies. So this has the look of something I'd enjoy.
Yeah, I love my romances but high human drama is almost its most compelling when it involves the darker side of life and contains hints of who we all might be or glimpses of our own past histories.
Where would Shakespeare be without his tragedies?

Keep us updated on a US release if you can.

Sadly playing nowhere near me right now.

But have you gotten to see it yet, Bonnie?

Heard the director  Peter Howitt talking on Radio 4's Looses Ends about how the original lead actor dropped out just before filming, forcing Howitt to have to step in to play the main lead character instead.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster regarding making a truly great movie, but early reviews suggest it ain't all that bad.

(would only go to see it to see Rachael anyways..lol)

We watched Dangerous Parking a week or two ago. It was a little graphic in places (think vomit rather than violence!) but on the whole, it was a well-scripted, well-acted little film. I didn't know how much Rachael's character would feature, but was pleasantly surprised to see that she had a prominent role.

This evening I have screencapped the film and uploaded the caps to the website.

Hope you like them! As always, there are some spoilers. Smile Let me know what you think.

I watched it yesterday. I had no idea what it was gonna be about, and I must say I was surprised.
The film was actually quite good, although a little graphic in the vomit department, like Bonnie already pointed out.
Rachael's character was great, she played it really well. Only ofcourse I wished she'd had a bigger role.

From the photos Bonnie has put up on the site, I'm amazed how little Rachael has aged since I began following her career.
She's quite the beauty. Love

The disgorging scene was not beautiful but considering the man's chemical input it was REAL. I won't do a replay of that scene you can be sure.

It is always good to see Rachael and her role was well done. When it was clear that Rachael would no longer be in the film we both chose not to continue.

You should watch the rest of it. It's actually quite a good film and I was quite surprised at the end.

I'm glad you enjoyed it in the end Chris!

I don't know how you managed to stop watching it halfway through and not be tempted to watch the rest, lol Big Grin
